There's something strange about the seaside town of Otley Bay. The tourists love it because it hardly ever rains, and the locals never seem to want to leave it. But what, or who, is keeping them there and drawing more and more people to visit?
Some of the teenagers of the town are about to find out when they start making plans to leave at the end of the summer.
What starts as a series of strange incidents turns into a sequence of dangerous and life-threatening events, which take ever more horrific turns. There is no way of knowing who will be next, and the only way they can stop it is to find out what really happened in Otley Bay in 1985, and why no one in the town wants to talk about a guy called Nathan Silver.
But will they uncover the truth in time to save their lives, or will the summer just have to last forever?
